I've always maintained that meat is good for you, or at least necessary.
Just as well I prefer beer to wine, though I don't see anything about whisky.
As far as I know this hasn't yet reached the US, though I've mentioned it before.
I thought this was well done - perhaps not as thorough but then again trying to encompas a lot of topics into two shows isn't going to be easy.
Originally broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK, I think this is a pretty important documentary. It made me laugh in several places and in others I just felt such utter dispair for our species (you'll know which bits when you see them). Our ability to avoid thinking critically about our actions and to believe the most ridiculous myths astounds me. People since before d'Holbach have been arguing against such superstition, yet others continue to put their faith in the stars and little twigs.

OK, so not being American I didn't know what the hell the 'sexbox scandal' was about. I'd seen a reference to it on Gamespy (shut up Shaz, I know I'm a nerd) but that was it. So then I found this.
You what!?
I had no idea the game they were talking about was Mass Effect!
I've played Mass Effect, in fact I've just started through a second time (this time as "evil"), and it's nothing. I didn't even know it was in the game until I got to the stage that triggers the cutscene (after several hours of wandering through one of the most detailed game worlds ever), and all things considered the cutscene is barely a fraction of a percent of the game's run time. It's not even that integral or impressive a cutscene (hell, it's a side-quest, an unlockable achievement for the 360) - the Normady's attack run on Sovereign, now that was cool.
Because c'mon, when the only sources telling you that a historical (much less a divine) Jesus existed are those written or edited by the Abrahamic oligarchies over hundreds of years you've got to worry for historical accuracy.
An awesome little game I found a little over a month ago. It's not too hard to get through the back catalogue, and it's updated with new levels each Sunday (just played the latest one, quite a clever layout but not that difficult).
